        Unfortunately it seems like they've changed the recipe. They used to have one of the lightest, most tender glazed donuts I've ever enjoyed. Now it's more like something you could pick up at the grocery store. I probably won't be back.

        In a world where donuts have gone "corporate" like everything else, Mrs. Renison's is the real, small-town deal. Donuts like the ones I ate as a kid in the '50s... and that is GOOD!

        The donuts are fresh and delicious. The apple fritters are very good. Wouldn't recommend the cream filled, however. The cream has an odd flavor added to it that you wouldn't expect for a vanilla cream. It might be lemon or almond extract. I prefer the traditional vanilla cream.
