I had the opportunity to spend a week at the Comfort Suites in Marysville Ohio. I had an excellent experience thanks to the whole staff there. From housekeeping to the kitchen staff to the front office staff everyone was courteous friendly helpful and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Especially since I was up there from Florida to attend my mothers funeral. The reception staff I was able to confide in them and I got amazing conversations consoling and empathetic. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all their support. I felt as if I had a new family! I personally want to point out Karla,Michelle,Brittany,Mary. All were exceptional and professional. Very pleased with our stay! Because of the hotel's amenities, larger occupancy rooms, and proximity to the city, it's popular with families. The location feels very safe, and it's conveniently located close to Walmart and Meijer plus several restaurants. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good, about everything you would expect in an included breakfast. The room was a good size with comfortable beds. The TV had HDMI for my son to connect his Nintendo. I was skeptical of all the good reviews because of the affordable price, so I kept looking for something wrong. I didn't find much. What I did find did not merit a reduction in rating in my opinion. The worst was the noise the shower made while it was running. It was a constant high pitched whistle that was audible in the shower and elsewhere throughout the room. Secondly, no table in the room. There was a desk and nightstand, but no coffee table at the sofa. It worked out okay, but it wasn't the best for eating dinner or playing board games. Also, no USB outlets. I don't think it's a big deal, but I'm mentioning it merely to help manage expectations and help when packing because many hotels I've stayed in recently have had them. There were definitely no deal-breakers, and I will choose this hotel again when we're visiting Columbus. Rooms: The room was clean and had enough space to move around without tripping over each other. Safety: The hotel is in a nice area even though it's close to the highway. The parking lot was well lit. There's a Texas Roadhouse across the street. That probably doesn't seem safety related, but when was the last time you saw a Texas Roadhouse in a high crime neighborhood? Food & drinks: We stayed over a Saturday night. The breakfast Sunday morning had sausage patties, scrambled eggs, egg & cheese omelets, tots, boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, bagels, cereal, fruit, milk, juices, coffee, and a waffle maker. There are plenty of restaurant options nearby as well.
