I had a friend contact me late one Saturday night in a total panic that her son had been arrested among a group of his friends which should not have included him because he had no contraband and is a very straight laced kid waiting to hear back on college admissions. I had to let her know that I dont practice criminal law but I could refer her to a law school colleague, Jaceda Blazef. I told my friend I would text her phone number to Attorney Blazef letting her know that she can phone the mother anytime day or night. Attorney Blazef not only contacted this frantic parent immediately but assisted her in contacting an after hours bail bondsmen, get her son released and showed up at the court the following Monday morning and got the charges dismissed. Attorney Blazef went above and beyond the call of duty by offering to help her son get released on bond immediately and the charges dismissed. I expected the son to spend the weekend in jail and for the mother to be contacted during business hours on Monday. Kudos to Attorney Blazef for taking immediate action on a matter some other attorney may consider a low priority.
