This place makes replacement corvette parts, American made. I ordered a radiator core support for a big block corvette. The day it arrived by Fed Ex. I examined the box it came in and there were no punctures or damage to the box. I opened it up and a welded part of the core support was laying at the bottom of the box. I looked to see what it was, and found it was the main bolt on, nut and nut cover bracket. I could see where the welder had missed the edge of the bracket and just welded next to it. This made me nervous about the other welds on the core support. I called Coffman Corvette and explained the poorly welded piece that fell off and needed to be fixed. The lady who answered the phone said she had to hand me off to Clint who could handle something like this. When Clint came on the phone and I explained again the issue with my newly arrived broken weld on my radiator core support. Clint said I could send it back and he would send another one. Clint said he inspects every weld before an item is sent out. If he inspected this core support weld he missed it, makes me wonder how many welds are bad and missed inspected welds get by,  not good. I explained I needed it now not another two more weeks. I said, could you credit me back some and I'll get it fixed in my town and get it installed later today. Clint said he would not do that, I had to send it back, no credit would be done. Very, very disappointed with this company, and Clint's customer service. He could have just gave me a credit to get it welded and painted, probably $20.00 would have done it. You will not get any referrals from me, and I will tell this story at every corvette car show I go to, I hope the welds hold up and don't leave me stranded somewhere.
