I took my puppy to Loveland Regional when I first adopted him for his wellness care. Then on the December 6th he started to cough so we visited on the 11th. Before arrival I was not informed the appointment was going to outside in 30 degree weather. I was told the cough was likely due to him eating something that then gave him a sore throat and sent home with anti inflammatory and cough suppressant medications. I was informed at the visit I would receive a follow up call 48 hours later to check in on him and if his symptoms had not fully cleared up to schedule another appointment. I did receive that call 48 hours later and informed the vet tech that he seemed better but was still coughing. I was then told to wait until his medication ended and then if he still had symptoms to bring him back in. This was contradictory to what was told to to me at the original visit. Then the morning after his medications were finished he began to decline. I ended up spending over $8,000 at the emergency vet because Loveland Regional misdiagnosed him. He in fact had kennel cough (Bordetella) a very common illness in dogs thats primary symptom is a cough. This illness is also known to be more dangerous for puppies due to their weakened immune system and can be much more serious. His condition worsened and progressed into pneumonia then sepsis and then I sadly lost my beloved pet. Had I been given a proper exam, correct medications, or if staff had proper training I would not be in this situation. The only thing Loveland Regional has done to remedy this situation is to inform me they will be doing more training with staff regarding follow up calls. I would never recommend this vet to anyone and will be warnings others of this experience.

We had been given a 120 dollar estimate to have our cats taken in for a physical, when they returned our cats they charged 340 in additional services that we had not agreed to then refused to offer more then a discount on our next visit for the egregious nonconsensual upsell

They are always so caring and thoughtful and take time to get to know you and your pets and make sure they take every step of care possibly needed! Recommend for the staff! Only down side: the increased prices
