The Retreat

This is a great place for a quilters retreat. The location is close to several good restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped for staying in to eat. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. Communication is excellent.

Having just returned from a long weekend in Loveland at The Retreat, I cannot say enough about how great our stay was. We were a small group of 4, but The Retreat can accommodate twice that number. The house is warm and cozy and modern and so comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out but also homey enough to gather in one of several spots. Lots of outdoor space for coffee in the morning and/or to wind down at the end of the day. And the location is unbelievably convenient to the amazing bike trail, lots of cute shops, delicious restaurants, and everything that Loveland has to offer. We are already planning a return trip, and we wouldn't dare stay anywhere else.

The Retreat is a great place for quilting or to relax with family and friends. The large cutting area, dry iron, sewing areas and supplies in case you forgot to bring something is great. It was handy being able to rent a sewing machine. I didnt have to bring one from Virginia. The house is delightful decorated. It is a quaint house with modern comforts. The couches are comfortable. I love the huge kitchen. It has everything you can possibly want in it. We were lazy and tried the different restaurants for fun each day. Especially, since it was walking distance from the the shops, restaurants and bike/walking trail. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own thermostat to regulate the temperature. The two individual private bedroom are beautiful decorated. My sister and I stayed in the room with the 5 beds. The beds are nicely spaced out. The quilts on the beds are lovely. There are two bathrooms. Upstairs bathroom has a shower. The downstairs bathroom has bathtub and shower. There are many towels, wash clothes and hand towels. It was so nice seating outside in the back. It was so relaxing. I love, love that hammock!! With my Apple AirPods in and on that hammock, I was blissfully happy. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend The Retreat. We loved it so much that we made reservations for next year.
