Finally I have located an honest and friendly heating and cooling small business in Cincinnati.  Ending my yearly subscription with Help heating and cooling, this was the best decision last year.  I was charged a monthly subscription to get 'premium' service only to be repetitively pressure sold for a high cost, and unnecessary work.  Jerry is the total opposite.  Highly ethical and is looking out for the customers wallet.  I had the same issue as last year, Help quoted me 3-4K for a total replacement wit.  Jerry fixed it in 5 min and a small fraction of the cost instead of trying to sell me on the total replacement.  Highly recommend.

2 years ago, I hired Jerry to install a new heat pump. I paid him over $7,000. Now, the unit is producing no heat. I found out that a true pressure line had rubbed up against the main freon line and caused a hole in it which caused all of the freon to escape from the unit. I contacted the heat pump manufacturer, Goodman, and they said it was Jerry's problem because it was a labor issue and not a materail issue. I contacted Jerry and he said that he only had a 1 year warranty on labor, since it has been 2 years, he could not help me. I got 2 quotes for over $2,400 to fix it. I still don't have any heat. I would highly recommend that you find someone to install you new unit who has more than a 1 year warranty on labor. Most HVAC contractors have a 5 to 10 year warranty on labor.
