First: excellent staff and very kind service.
Other than that, several maintenance issues, tv didnt work, pancake maker didnt work, you cant turn on the shower without being in it and it sprays all over even out the door if open, and lastly, the water just straight smells bad. Im not sure if it was a larger issue or just our room but the whole bathroom stunk after showers.
Overall, the staff was as helpful as could be, but the whole building seemed to need a fair amount of maintenance and deep filtered cleaning.
Rooms: Though we had great service, many areas were not clean to the touch.

2 queen room- When you open the door you walk in between the sink and toilet/shower room, the toilet paper holder did not stay in the wall (almost fell on my foot when I tried to rip the paper). The beds are old spring mattresses and every time I moved in the night it woke me up because of the noise. They called our room at 7:45am, we did not request this- but when we tried to answer the phone the plug came out of the receiver and did not stay in so we did not bother calling them back. We left our room 2 hours earlier than planned due to all of these things.
Rooms: Otherwise clean aside for what is mentioned above.
Nearby activities: None that were noteworthy- stop is mostly gas, quick stop (grocery) and the hotel.
Walkability: Not walkable- on a busy road with truck stops.

I stayed at this location for three nights. I arrived during a snow storm and was welcomed warmly and quickly. The front desk clerk lady explained everything i needed to know for my weekend stay. This is a top notch place! I am looking forward to next stay and enjoyed the breakfast options. My room was clean and I felt very safe and warm. Thanks Tim
