Logan Water Works

Purchased a house in Logan in 2021 and have lived there for 3 years now. I can easily say Logan water department is the worst department in the city. Horrible customer service. The women that work here are beyond rude, lack any ounce of empathy, and downright unprofessional. Your bill will constantly get messed up, you will pay your bill and have your water shut off anyways, you will have to pay a $5 fee to pay your bill online, there is a bill minimum even if you never get close to using the minimum. They are retaliatory and predators to get more money for the city or maybe, simply to be unkind. It seems like they like the drama considering everyone in the city feels the same and yet they refuse to change. When I bought my house and set water up, there was no problem. After living there a year they tried to bill me $600 for 2 owners before I owner the home. Guess what? I contacted that owner and they had receipts that they paid that $600 bill. Why would they let me get service with a past due bill? Why did they charge me a year after living there and not immediately when setting up service? When I asked questions I received no answers and was told sorry you have to pay by the 15th or youll be shut off. I cant say this enough, RUDE, lack of empathy, no understanding, no customer service, and an outright scam. Crooks.

This place is a joke. The employees are rude. $70 for a single person household. Wont ever see any form of reductions done when the mains break and the boil alerts go every week. There probably wouldnt be such an issue with a majority of the town if the employees were at least baseline respectful. Cant get any form of questions asked just some huffs and puffs. Too bad we need water to survive, stuck with this no matter what. Came back after already posting this. They now have a sign at the window you make your payments at complaining about rude customers and that they will charge you $10.00 for putting up with you. This isnt a private company this is a public works. We as a community cant decide to not deal with this place and go somewhere else. Do we get $10.00 off our bill of we feel you are rude to us?

The 3 women down at the water dept need FIRED, absolutely atrocious!!! If allowed to keep their jobs They should be forced to sit and learn from the women at the BMV, who have manners, are polite, and know how to send bills out and dont extort...just saying...

Absolutely the worst with confusing, inconsistent rules for business owners and residents. Customer service and common sense is nonexistent in this office.
