I had a bill that was 100% paid to Mary Washington and i got charged for said payment it somehow got sent to here anyways. Lady i spoke to implied that i never paid anyone and refused to verify the debt. Also she hung up on me mid conversation. I honestly hope that this debt collection business collapses.

I called 3 times today. The first person was so rude I ended call. The 2nd call I talked to Mary. She pulled my acct up. Never gave me the mini Miranda. But said she would not my acct as I qualified for a financial hardship write off. I called back talked with another rude lady. I finally was put through to a supervisor Jamie. We talked of course Mary didnt note the acct, I went over again with Jamie. She defended her collector Mary. I said listen to the recordings or I can send you a copy of my recording. I will be talking to an attorney about the violation of fair debt collection laws. I will be seeking action against the collector and the company. Dont play so loose with the collections laws as there is fines for violations.
