BEWARE! Do not use the Josh Vivian Allstate Agency. I recently needed to transfer my Allstate policies to a new Agent so I contacted Josh Vivian Allstate as the agent to work with. Shockingly, I find Josh Vivian and Stephen Cole, Allstate Agents, that are willing take the transfer of my Homeowners and Auto policies, which I pay more $3225+ per year for, but they will only transfer the policies if I add a new costly blanket insurance that I never asked for. In fact, I was sent the unsolicited e-mail that stated he (Josh) is willing to transfer the insurance under one condition. He (Josh) said we have to write a million dollar blanket umbrella policy at the cost of an additional $608.87/yr. This seems unethical and possibly extortion by forcing policy holders to have to buy extra coverages not wanted or asked for. All I wanted to do was simply relocate my current policies from one Allstate Agent to another Allstate Agent. Something that you would think would not be so hard to do. Yet this is the unfortunate ultimatum provided by Allstate Agents Josh Vivian and Stephen Cole.
