Where to start? The people.the folks at Nickel & Bean are fabulous to work with (catered a recent event) and make you feel like you are their only client/customer. The food.amazing. Breakfast frittatas, yogurt parfaits, scones (lemon to die for), blueberry muffins, cinnamon rollsall made fresh in house. We had a special birthday and asked if they could make a carrot cake. It did not disappoint! Every person who had some said it was the best theyd ever had. The placea restored old building with a modern interior made to make you feel at ease and at home. If youre in the Lexington, Ohio area youd do yourself a disservice by not going to Nickel & Bean! Drive past all the other coffee places and out of your way to go and stay a minute.

Love having Nickel & Bean as my local coffee shop. The staff are always friendly, the food and drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is great. The breakfast sandwich on the herb biscuit is amazing (not sure what exactly is in the sauce they put on it but it's ). My favorite drink is the iced blended with white mocha but I've also had hot and iced lattes as well as the peach and wildberry smoothies which are all great too. Only downside is there are times when it's busy that there aren't any seats available.

Passing through town, I stopped here based on reviews. Admittedly the passion in the shops replies piqued my interest almost more than the drink quality. Nickel & Bean did not disappoint. The place is beautifully renovated with a stunning back entryway and beautiful wood accents. The teamwork and passion was indeed evident by the two baristas working. Both were pleasant, efficient, and working their buns off juggling the busy drive through window along with the orders inside. I didnt wait long at all for my latte, and it was excellent. Prices were comparable to most coffee shops - I paid a little over $5 for my latte with flavor.
