PrimeMD - Lancaster Primary Care

I have been going to prime md for many years, they had some transitions such as shutting down the local office in Newark but I decided to continue with the one in lancaster. All of their doctors and NPs have been great and trustworthy; I am very critical on doctors. They made improvements such as better location, and more staff. They have always treated me with respect and listened to me.

Ive been going here for about 4 years. They have always been great with me. I had a major life event happen two years ago. I could not eat, sleep or think straight. Ive always struggled with anxiety as it is, so this on top of it was more than I could take.. The doctor recommended a medication and I was hesitant to take. She assured me that if it didnt help we would work together until something did work. Turns out that after years of other medications, this one was the ONE. They gave me samples of my very expensive diabetes medication until my new insurance kicked in. They have changed locations and some staff, but I am still very pleased with my treatment. And I just love the nurse there. She remembers me and always asks how I am dealing with things that happened. Ive seen Theresa on my last visits and she is a delight. Very encouraging and helpful.

PrimeMD has become a complete joke of an operation. They closed the Newark location abruptly with no notice. I arrive for my appointment and there's a sign that they are closed and the building owners don't know where they went. Had a TeleHealth appointment scheduled for today and they wanted payment up front because my new Anthem insurance card doesn't have an address on it. Was told that I just can't find it. Ma'am, it's all here in English, and I know what an address looks like, there isn't one on the card. Cancel your appointments with this place and find somewhere else to go.

When this clinic had Brian Hendrickson it was decent, he always was nice and created a productive and positive environment...This place currently won't even answer your phone call, or return a call back to you after you leave messages. Last time I tried to leave a message the mailbox was full. Oh and by the way... Don't go there for anything related to mental health or substance abuse. They won't get you to where you need to be, and still have yet to be contacted multiple weeks after my recent hospitalization.

Unsafe!! Not reliable. You cannot depend on these people for anything. Bottom line they do not care about patient safety and have no common sense. They are liars and negligent. More than once they have put my or my familys health at risk. I am done with this place. I do not recommend. UNSAFE!
