Ohman Family Living at Blossom

This place is a mess nothing is updated and staff is racist and nasty to residents and African Americans I can go on about the neglect of care shown to the residents the residents are left soiled and the skin breakdown is ridiculous no loved one should be placed here as a matter of fact State needs to get involved! The number of staff members shows the lack of quality of care and when agencies come in to help they sit back and let them sweat alone while they allow staff to leave early this place is a joke! They allow the unprofessional nurses to make up unwritten rules as they go! How are they rated a 4 star with so much neglect?

Do not work here if you're agency. I worked with 2 other aides and had half the building. Then they claimed I wasnt there for my shift but i was working with an agency nurse so thank god i had a witness but they tried it. Horrible people and very lazy.

There are so many wonderful things I can say about Blossom. The administration, management and staff are all so caring and compassionate. My mother in law, father in law and mother all received impeccable care at blossom. They went above and beyond in the care and compassion that was provided to my family as well as myself. I would give 100 stars if that was an option. I would trust my own care in this facility after seeing how well my family was cared for. You are all angels! Thank you!!!

Terrible care - one of the worst facilities in the area - aids are lovely - management is piss poor. Move your loved ones and never ever put them here. Nancy and the office staff are terrible to work with - aggressive and unkind. This woman truly knows nothing about elderly care and is abusive to her staff I have heard. If you work here - I urge you to go somewhere else for employment and to stop leaving reviews on here - it should be illegal to do so. You are an employee and do not have a loved one here - YOUR REVIEWS ARE BIASED AND IT SHOULD BE A CRIME

This is Zadas granddaughter writing - this facility killed Zada - the owner / manager is a nasty, despicable, excuse of a human. I am not sure how she convinces some of the staff to go into google and leave good reviews for her. Please look at Patrick below and read his comment as he is a former employee. I should of stuck to my gut with this place but because I was in the depths of caregiving I did not move my grandparents and it cost my grandmother her life. I have moved my grandfather to a different facility. The care at the new facility really puts Ohman family living to shame - Ohman Family Livings are a gross joke of a facility and I am embarrassed I let my loved ones live here. At grandpas new facility there are former employees of blossom who speak of the abuse they endured while working for Nancy Ohman. I was treated very poorly by Nancy as well - she is a money hungry spoiled brat - Daddy should of never given her a nursing home to run. Their website and biography online are not a good representation of the values of care in these facilities ...there are none. The only time you will meet or hear from Nancy is if it is about Money $$- she does not care about the patients and their families - RUN FAR and RUN FAST - I would even recommend a new pair of sneakers - get away from this place and do it quickly. Nancy takes advantage of the aging population in Geauga County and this place should be shut down. The social worker Lori is kind in her tone. Lori assured me when I ran into issues with Nancy, that should would not work for someone who has poor character and doesn't value the care of our elderly population. Loris tone was kind but she was not upfront with me, it is apparent in speaking to those in the community and former employees whom have also had bad experiences with these facilities. Lori is an anomaly in her experiences with Nancy and I am not sure why she feels the need to protect such an evil and greedy woman - perhaps they are related -or childhood friends - maybe Nancy also abuses Lori and she is fearful for her job - something here does not add up.... it is a terrible facility, the care is THE WORST - and the owner is abusive.
