I was so amazingly scared, but needed mouth surgery to do a root canal from the top of the tooth due to infection. I went in and he reassured me that everything would be alright. Asked me what I was most scared of (pain), he reassured me that I would not feel pain during the procedure. He was right, no pain, talked me through it and in 10 minutes I was done!!! Walked out after 28 minutes total and never hurt. Great guy, helped me through it all!

Didn't get my root canal all the way ! Having problems and now I have to get tooth pulled !! And they tried to get extra money out of me that was a mess !! That lady was not nice there at all don't recommend them!

I had the best experience with Dr. Peterson, very professional staff, knowledgeable, root canal pain free and another visit / evaluation to determine if one was necessary which he said no. Honest...highly recommend him!

I am writing this on behalf of my elderly mother. I advise you to steer clear of Dr. Peterson.After performing a root canal on one of her molars in late July 2015, my mother developed an infection in the tooth, a sure sign that something had gone wrong. After the pain became unbearable, she contacted Dr. Peterson's office to seek advice, but was told by the secretary that Dr. Peterson was booked up and would be unable to see her before August 25. This was despite the fact that she is elderly and in great pain from a (likely) infection in the tooth he operated on.Unable to make any progress with Dr. Peterson's front desk, she was able to get an emergency appointment at a local dentist's office in Perrysburg for the following day. X-Rays confirmed that the tooth Dr. Peterson operated on had become infected, and worse, that the infection had spread to the bone. The dentist told my mother that Dr. Peterson was responsible for attending to this problem, and quickly. Nevertheless, repeated attempts by my mother to have Dr. Peterson see her sooner were all thwarted by the front desk. At one point, the receptionist suggested, over the phone, that my mother start a course of antibiotics. Probably not bad advice, but it would have been better coming directly from Dr. Peterson after he reviewed the problem in person, and tried to address its root cause. After all, he had collected $1,000 additional out-of-pocket for the procedure, above and beyond what insurance was already paying him.To summarize, shortly after Dr. Peterson performed a root canal on my mother's molar tooth, it became severely infected as confirmed by another dentist. Neither Dr. Peterson nor his staff followed up on the results of the procedure, and worse, when my mother was in great pain from the infection and asked to be seen ASAP, she was given a date 1-2 weeks in the future, which indicates that nobody at the office took the situation seriously.
