The only reason I gave Legacy one star is because zero stars is not an option. My mother has been at this facility for 3 weeks and has declined tremendously since being placed here by her doctor at Highland District Hospital . My mother, who has breathing problems due to her curved spine cries all day because no one will help her get into a comfortable spot where she is able to breath . I was told they don't have a chair for Mom to get into a comfortable position. The resident across the hall told me that my mom cried all day and no one will help her". 12/3/23 Legacy now keeps mom doped up on benzos hoping it will keep her from yelling for help, when they caused this behavior by not answering her call light in a timely manner. My mom can no longer walk or stand, Legacy has wrecked my mom's life, their "physical therapy' is doping mom up and putting a catheter in her so they don't have to take her to the bathroom. Anyone at Legacy who thinks this is good care needs their license to practice nursing revoked. And Kelly, I voice my concerns each time I visit, which is a couple of times a week, and each time I visit the situation is worse. Please do not allow Legacy to provide therapy to your loved one, they will end up in such poor health they will never live at home again. This place should be shut down and all involved in this sub standard care should be prosecuted, including you Kelly.
