Days Inn by Wyndham Hillsboro

Reserved a handicap room a week ahead and the day of they called to say they couldn't give us one. We were already gone and had to take a regular room, my mom and dad couldnt shower because of this and my dad fell getting out of bed because the wheelchair was stuck between the bed and wall. People next door were fighting loudly all night. Complained 3 times and we got about 3 hours of sleep. They gave us a 10% discount.

Bathroom was filthy, hair, 2 bars of old soap. May want to clean them occasionally!

There was always only one staff member there. Then the staff was unable to resolve issues, and there were many: 1. One of the two rooms very cold, and took a long time to get warm enough. She offered to move the room, but then would have to figure out how to get a television in another room. 2. In the cold room, there was no remote for the television. We waited a while, as there was only one staff member in the building. 3. Both rooms were worn and not quite clean. My room had a couple dead bugs on the floor, someone's DIRTY SOCK on the floor in our bathroom! 4. The coffee maker in our room was not really clean. 5. There is not an elevator and only one ice maker on the first floor, so my 83 year old father had to go downstairs to get ice for his suite. 6. Going up and down several times, we were not impressed with the worn and dirty halls - particularly the stairwell. I have stayed in several Wyndham places. The standards here in Hillsboro did NOT meet the others. Rooms: Worn and not clean One of the two rooms was cold Didn't have remote in one room Nearby activities: Convenient location Safety: Fine
