I had a lengthy phone call with Tom, expressing my concern numerous times that I am concerned with moisture levels in the basement / ground level of a home my fiance and I put on a contigent offer in on. I told him bottom line that we needed a test to see what the air quality was like since the moisture meter was going off the charts on the home inspection, and to see if it was safe for my family to breathe or not. Everything online that I've researched, along with talking with other mold mitigation experts, have all said you need an airborne mold test with air samples inside the home as well as outside to act as a "baseline" for the indoor results. The test tooks multiple days longer than expected to receive back (it is a holiday week, but again all other companies I have talked to stated they were sending out samples after and receiving them back before we got ours). So this already puts a tight timeline with offer deadlines. Before we even get the results I get an email stating how he would need $650 more dollars for additional tests. This is in conjunction with receiving a test back that is not in the scope of what was requested (the scope we wanted was checking the air quality. And giving us some sort of directive on course of action). What we received was a swab test taken from the wall and a request for $650 for additional inspecting. I have reached out numerous times asking what exactly I paid for with no responses. With my fiance and I getting married at the same time we don't have the money to waste, and we are essentially 1.5 weeks set back from where we could have been if someone had come out and done the correct Airborne mold test that was originally requested and alluded to.

My doctor recommended this company for mold testing. The owner of the company came out and looked around my house. He talked me into just doing a deep cleaning of the house for $2500 that included painting and caulking a couple spots of water stains, running air purifiers, and cleaning the a/c coils in my HVAC unit. This was instead of doing mold testing to find out what is causing my sinus and eye symptoms. He was so sure that dust was causing my issues without really knowing for sure. I was trusting in his judgment as he is supposed to be the professional. After the job was done I gave it a couple months to see if my symptoms would improve-they did not. I told him this and he tells me we can do mold testing for $295. I asked him why we didnt do this in the first place? I have yet to receive a response from him and its been months. Nothing ever got resolved and I still have no answers as to what is causing my symptoms. Im giving 2 stars because most of the work that was said to be done was done, but Im not actually pleased with the outcome I was promised because nothing was resolved. I feel like I wasted $2500.
