I'd give them 0 stars if I could. To hear how my nephew was treated at this daycare was extremely upsetting and made worse by the owner lying about the outcome of the situation. To treat a 3 year old with such ill regard and the parents just as poorly is disgusting. They stated that there was zero proof to the incident and that no action would be taken to the teacher who screamed at my nephew with autism. Do better. Do not send your children here.

*ADMINISTRATION DID NOT PUNISH PROVIDER WHO MADE CHILD ON THE SPECTRUM SO NERVOUS THAT HE URINATED IN HIS PANTS, WHO SCREAMED AT THE CHILD, AND PROCEEDED TO THROW AWAY CHILDS CLOTHES WITHOUT NOTIFYING PARENTS* This review is to notify current and future families of the current administration at Kiddie Acadamy. While my childs teacher (whom we absolutely adore) was away on vacation, my child, who is on the spectrum, had a new teacher in class. At first, our son came home with scratches on his eye lid, his face and his his collarbone, on three separate days, without being provided any incident reports until my wife pressed for them to be filled out. At this point, no concerns were raised, as they are just scratches and just reports. However, we noticed that our son was having several accidents during this time with the new teacher, which was very unusual. He was being sent home without his original clothes, and we not receiving the soiled clothes in a bag. Again, not extremely unusual. He was also having some uncommon behavior issues at home during this time. Again, not totally uncommon since he is on the spectrum, but definitely something that was noticed. However, my wife was approached by two of the teacher (who we adored) that told us that they witnessed the new provider yelling at our three year old; that she was making him so nervous on several occasions that he was urinating in his pants or all over the floor; and that she would throw away the clothes. The two teachers were so concerned with the behavior that they felt the need to come directly to my wife to address the issue. They are afraid of the current admin and of fear of repercussion and did not go to the admin themself. (New director). When I asked my son if anyone at school was yelling at him, he muttered the name of the teacher. My wife and I immediately went to the director and the executive director to report what we were told. At first; we were told that she would be written up, then we were told she would be fired. Ultimately, these were both lies. The executive director stated that since they have not personally heard any yelling, the provider would not be punished for her actions. Again, my three year old, who is barely verbal and on the spectrum, does not have a voice to stand up for himself. The two brave teachers stood up for him. My wife and I stood up for him. However, the director and executive director did not. There are a few remaining teachers who are outstanding at KA. However, the admin is slowly eliminating them. Attached is proof that the admin down played our concerns (for 6 days) and was gaslighting us into believing these events did not occur. However, the events were severe. And the state of Ohio will be reviewing the matter as well. Please be careful when considering KA.

I would not send my kid here if it were free. I walked in to get info in reguard of possibly sending my child here. I stood there for 10 mins and multiple people walked past me and didnt say a word. They started peeking around the corner looking at me. Very unprofessional when they did decide to speak to me. I dont know what they were doing but something is not right on there. Felt very uncomfortable to say the least.

It is important for parents to understand what happened at this daycare. A substitute teacher in the toddler room had a 3 yr old child with autism in the bathroom screaming at him. Two other staff were so upset by the incident that they let us know what happened. The manager and the director were immediately informed. The family was assured that the teacher would be fired and the director would step down. NONE of those things happened. The manager said no action would be taken because there is no proof of any wrongdoing. The child is 3. The cost of this daycare is high. Parents pay for a safe place for their kids to be. They pay not have to worry about a teacher being cruel or uneducated about how to care for children and/or special needs children. Shame on this daycare. Shame on them for not protecting a child.
