My wife called to order flowers for a deceased loved one and was met with rudeness and annoyance by the person she spoke to. She decided to take business elsewhere. Whatever the reason, a customer should not be treated that way.

I just called maybe 5 minutes ago, and right away was placed on hold, which is fine. I opened up by saying Ive never placed an order for flowers before so I wasnt quite sure what to ask for. I told her I was looking to order 12 dozen pink carnations for Monday or Sunday. She said she would have to call around to see if she could even find any, which is also fine. I then proceeded to ask how much it would be, she proceeded with either $1.25-1.50 each. I asked her is that for a bunch and she responded with per flower. I then asked her how much it would be for a bundle of flowers (im unsure if thats the correct term or not) and she proceeded with I dont even have a calculator, which it was fine, but the annoyance in her voice was unneeded. I quickly interrupted her and told her I would take business elsewhere. The flowers are for my grandmother who passed away.. I was willing to pay good money too. Maybe you should think about what people often buy flowers for before being rude on the phone. Way to ruin someones day.
