Was actually looking for a place to magnet fish and came across Bish. Ended up finding a good spot to launch my kayak instead. The launch is decent. It's a concrete path to the water. The launch depth will vary with the water level but average I would say 8-12". Quickly gets deeper but you have to get your feet wet if you need that depth. Water flow is slow, again, depending on water levels. I was able to paddle upstream about halfway to the 4th street bridge before bottoming out on a sand/pebble bar, but depending on the depth needed for your craft, there was another stopping bar about 200-300' feet upstream from the launch. I rubbed it but was able to clear it.

I volunteer at this young park. If you enjoy kayaking, bicycling, community gardens, alternate energy, and pollinator gardens, you can learn a thing or two.
