I understand not being forthcoming about issues that used cars may have. After all, it’s a business and it really is on the buyer to check things out before you purchase. But to outright lie to someone is different. The owner of this place lied to us about three different issues the car had. Not good business practice.

Have you ever seen a movie with a really shady used car salesman who is kind of sleazy and pawns all over you and tells you all kinds of things that you know aren’t true just to sell you a car? That guy owns this place. He always has a selection of below average used cars which is fine if that’s what you need. In this case that’s what I needed. I had a car all picked out visually inspected it and called him for a test drive. Made him an offer on the car before I even test drove it so as not to waste his time. We no sooner than got into the car for the test drive and his phone rang. I glanced over and saw the incoming call was from a person named Brandon. He then pretended to talk to this person as if they were calling in to inquire about the car we were test driving. It was pretty clear that his friend Brandon was told to call five minutes into the test drive so he could pretend they were other interested parties so he could turn down my offer. As soon as he hung up I called him out and said you didn’t have to do that I’m going to make you a fair offer for this car and I want to buy it. He claimed he didn’t know what he was talking about and didn’t know why his phone would say that his friend Brandon had called. I specifically asked him five questions that I already knew the answer to about the car and he lied to me about four of them. Because I already knew what was wrong with the car and the offer that I gave him was fair I ended up buying the Car and it still runs to this day with no issues which is why he’s getting two stars instead of one. If the owner of this company is reading this, dude, you do not have to go through all of those lies and deceptions to sell a car. Just be honest. I know it’s hard for someone like you to give it a shot.
