        Went Saturday to West Side Market. Ordered 2 traditional calzones. No ricotta in either of these. Very dry. Top has a lot of seasoning but was also very dry. So disappointed.

        we are lucky to have this in fairview park. outstanding authentic Italian foods available for take out. calzones, stromboli, lasagna, fresh bread, cannoli, etc made fresh on site. very kind and professional service. i would recommend for catering or even a small dinner. i picked up a dozen cannolis for a holiday party and they were a hit.

      Christa, this is something we have never had a complaint of and we apologize. We have heard before that people wish there was more ricotta, but never not any. Our ricotta is creamy and whipped and melts when warmed into the imported mozzarella/provolone blend that we use in all calzones and strombolis. The seasoning on top is plentiful, but because calzones do not traditionally have a sauce in them and are intended to be dunked in a sauce you prefer they can come off as dry.
