Rockne's is always spotlessly clean. The menu is varied and the food is good Parking: Big lot. Pkg spaces are old fashioned full size Wheelchair accessibility: Seems to be reasonable accessibility

The Black Cuban Bean soup was very good, as well as the Ruben sandwich (I shared the sandwich). The basket of fries was marginal; small potatoes with lots of tiny end pieces. There was room for improvement in the area of service. It wasn't pleasant to observe how the wait staff treated other diners. We picked up facial expressions and an attitude of discontent when KM waited on specific customers. Moving on, the prices were reasonable. This location has a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of parking. It's one of my favorite places to dine and is noted by the city of Akron (7 consecutive years) as one of the best casual places to go. Because wait staff is a variable, Rickne's is still a sure bet.

Besides excellent food and service, I left my cell there and couldn't go back until the next day. The head manager had it waiting for me and verified who I was when I called it b4 releasing it. Good food and great people. I started with the mushroom brie soup(which i was glad to see they recently brought back) and comes with soft tortillas which are great to dip. It could have been a tad hotter, (I like soup pretty hot) and then had the steak salad. My steak was cooked exactly to order(medium rare standard which is what I wanted anyway), salad was fresh, with Bleu dressing. I also got the Kickin' Cajun Pasta to go. Which was excellent. Overall I've eaten several dishes at several of the locations (stow, ridge park square (several times b4 closing), Streetsboro and now Fairlawn, and never had a bad experience which I have found to be a rare commodity in a chain with different management all the time. Nothing high end la fantaisie fare, but generally I'm not looking for that on a daily basis while out working and such, just a decent variety, non fast food semi healthy, prepared properly, fresh and hot, and professional service. If I get all of that at least, I'm a happy foodie camper. I have. I wish there were more up north by Cleveland still, especially on the east side, but I will continue to visit then when in the areas they're in
