I can not say enough good about First Federal Lakewood. Used to live in the Cleveland area, but am temporarily living in Dayton. Did not want to change banks as the Lakewood branch was always so helpful and convenient. Found out there was a branch in Dublin, which is much closer then the Cleveland area. Curt has been my go-to guy in Dublin. He is so helpful and has never disappointed. Customer for life!!!

Hopefully your loan is not purchased by them, their website and app are terrible. Paying online doesn't work and they don't like up to websites like MINT.

We used this bank for a lot loan, and would not recommend them to anyone. Outside of all the other issues we had with this process, trying to get a response from this bank is like pulling teeth. Days before our closing, we couldnt get ahold of anyone to get our final figures. Turns out that someone changed our closing date in their system, and no one could tell us how that happened or why nothing was communicated to us. We finally got a the final figures 2 hours AFTER we were supposed to have closed, so our closing got bumped. But now that we have closed, we cant get an answer on the app fee refund we were promised. We will not be doing any more business with this bank.

PLEASE BE AWARE THIS BANK FAILS TO CLOSE ON TIME (or even at all) ON LOT LOANS. Look elsewere!!! This bank and Peter Loeb came recommended by a couple of highly regarded build on your lot builders, but now I cannot understand why.

I have top tier credit rating, gave the bank 60 days to close in the contract, I produced all requested documents within 24 hours, and they simply could not get it together. Poor communication, dishonesty, lack of transparency, bank kept changing the terms after approval and reassurances all would close yet never did. In the final hours of the contract, I ended up doing a cash closing, otherwise I would have lost the property to another buyer.
Having been a part of countless residential and commercial banking transactions, this one takes the cake for being the absolute worst. As a business owner it pains me to have to write a negative review, but there are other banks that do mortgage lending better.
