Got a pedicure for my birthday and it was lovely. The massage chairs are so relaxing and the staff there are all so nice! I will definitely be back for all my salon and spa services!

As a long time client of this establishment Im increasingly disappointed in the decline in customer service and client focused care. In 8 years Ive missed ONE appointment for service to which I called ahead the same day to notify and additionally rescheduled the service in the same phone call. I was informed today that moving forward Square One would require a credit card on file to secure appointments due to the volume of missed and/or cancelled appointments. Cancellations outside of 24 hours would be no charge, within a 12 hour window would be a 50% service charge. I understand the need for this policy as this location serves a high student population and likely does see a disproportional number of cancellations without notice. As a REGULAR and I thought valued customer, I was off put by this requirement. I love my salon staffer and her services, but I think this move by management may be the last straw for me as a client. It would be nice, and a strategically good move for salon management to apply this new policy to new clients only. Sure - as someone who doesnt miss appointments why should this policy bother me? Eight plus years of patronage, thousands of dollars spent, dozens of recommendations to their business and staff, and the fact that I respect their time should be enough to know not all clients should be punished for a few bad apples.
