I have went to Dixon for years, when Mev passed away,Jackson Hewitt took his business. Normally when I drop off my taxes,it takes about 3 days to get them back.My taxes sat there for two weeks,when I called to check on them,they said they haven't got to them.I think two weeks is very unacceptable

Breanne Wagner was amazing. She was fairly new at that office but very competent, kind and thorough. Tami, the owner is very nice but is not educated on the tax code. She gave me information that was blatantly incorrect. Once I realized she was wrong about how I could file, I researched the other questions I had asked her and the answer was available on the IRS website! I contacted her about my issues and she stated that she would rerun our taxes to see which way would give us the biggest refund (a recommendation on the IRS web site) but had not responded to my inquiries since. She did try to call when I was in a meeting and I emailed her saying I prefer email contact or if she was comfortable with me recording our call, I would speak to her on the phone and I have not heard from her since then. If you have an extremely basic tax return that a grade schooler could handle, I'm sure you would have a delightful experience. If you have tax code questions, do your own research so you don't get screwed over like we did.
