I was a resident of LC, Lifestyle Communities for 7 years. I lived at LC of St. Matthews, Mallard Creek Apartments in Louisville, Kentucky. I was in a violent home invasion on their property where I bound, duct taped and tortured for hours at gunpoint. Google 'Jonathan Hay Home Invasion'. The person that is in prison and responsible for this was another for LC resident. He was a career-criminal, with a criminal record, bad credit, no job but he was dating a manger of LC who helped him out. LC did NOTHING about this whatsoever, and this is extreme trauma that I will live with for the rest of my life. A different manager at LC, told me if that former resident was ever charged, or pled guilty, they would do something about it. They never did. They actually made things worse for my life. Now that I've had time to process everything, I'm seeking accountability for Lifestyle Communities to do what they said they would do. I've been featured in the biggest press and publications across the world, and I will use every resource that I have. Former traumatized resident, Jonathan Hay

I moved out of LC Middleton in August of 2021 and have yet to receive my deposit back. I have called and emailed numerous times and no one ever answers the phone or emails back. I just tried calling their legal department and of course no one answered. I would advise against anyone renting properties from this company.
