The POEM and RISE programs have literally saved my life. As a mother of two who struggled with PPA and PPD, I was able to utilize all of the services they offer to regain my sanity and be present for my family. I am so grateful to MHA Ohio for the work they do to support mental health!

Deanna- NEVER GIVE FALSE information to anyone calling in again! There is NO RESOURCE and NEVER has been, even with a physician diagnosis of MRDD that would allow an Adult male dependent child to remain with family in a FAMILY HOMELESS SHELTER IN THIS CITY OF COLUMBUS OHIO. Stop giving false information. Whether a document exist illustrating a MRDD dx or not exist A ADULT MALE WITH MENTAL HEALTH OR DELAY ARE REFERRED TO ADULE MALE HOMELESS SHELTERS! And this is a problem! Deanna you got frustrated - you were wrong! You stated they could when you were in case management Uh, NO! Never! A group home or community living perhaps but a shelter where the adult mentally disabled-dependent child could remain with family? NOT TRUE!
