Purchasing a home is an extremely stressful and overwhelming time, but with Total Choice Mortgage the process went very smoothly. We felt informed at every step of the process. The level of customer service really sets the bar high for other agencies to try and meet. Care and customer service right from the beginning. We felt like we were the only clients they had. Never once were we put off or put on hold. If something came up, they were there immediately to help us navigate the process. Mike and his team are amazing and I HIGHLY recommend them!!! Heather is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. We truly felt cared about and supported!!!

I'm about 2 months post-mortgage. Pending the sale of my previous house, TotalChoice told me I would be able to re-cast my mortgage with as little as $10,000 in cash as soon as I had made my first payment on the new mortgage. New mortgage was sold to a different company within DAYS of signing it, well before any payment was made. Took me a few weeks to sell the previous house. New mortgage company only allows a re-cast at 10% or greater of the mortgage value, which is about quadruple what I was told would be the minimum recast amount. Additionally, they are insisting that the only way we can do this is by mailing physical paper forms and cashier's checks back and forth like its 1930, and that they have no capability what-so-ever to use any sort of properly-authenticated and signed digital forms. I'm sorry but, in 2023, I'm not interested in waiting 7-10 business days for a form to be sent via a method where it could be lost, nor am I willing to mail cashier's checks for the same reason. There is no way to further transfer this mortgage to a company that exists in the current century without spending thousands to completely refinance it at some of the worst interest rates in recent history. Pretty dissatisfied with the new company and pretty dissatisfied with Total Choice for being disingenuous with me about what my options would be if I signed with them. Had I known that this would have been the outcome, I would have shopped elsewhere. Obviously, TotalChoice mortgage has no say in the other company's policy, but they DO have a say in who they sell mortgages to and when they do it. Knowing full-well what my plans were post-mortgage, they've put me in a position that I am extremely dissatisfied with.
