Wish I had read this before booking. Got here today and this is what I found. No pillows for the bed. Place is the worst. Bathroom is terrible. No bags for the trash cans in the room. No remote for the tv. No fridge

BED BUGS. 9/21/2012. Checked for signs of infestation upon arrival, saw nothing that would indicate a problem in the bed or the mattress. But they must have been nesting someplace else, and I got over 400 bites during my two-night stay. It was a nightmare. Stay somewhere else.

One of if not the worst place to work or even stay. This is a place that from the time you check in to the minute you leave will be the worst experience that one can ever have in their life time. The owner is one who likes to have extra play time with women you who at the motel. He sometimes even messes with the women staff and if they don't comply they end up losing their jobs. And guess what this dude is married. His son who has a college degree and does his very best to run the two motels that they own has to cover up so much crime and bad things that go on around the motels as well as inside them that he loses all crediability when it comes to customer serivce. Health wise if you are in good physical shape and mentally alert when you leave this place you will be sick and out of your mind. The rooms are the worst in the history of mankind. Their are animals out their that live better in the streets then do the individuals who stay at this motel. The smell in the motel and in the rooms is gut renching and leave you with many questions as to why. Want drugs they have them. One time they rented out a room where and individaul turned it into a meth lab. Just about blew the place up and would of killed a few individuals if not for the smart person up front who called the police and fire department. Hookers they have them to. The owner and his son encourage this to the highest degree. They will rent rooms to known drug dealers and ladies of the night in exchange for sexual favors. Nice place to take kids if you what them to enjoy the finer qualities of Columbus, Ohio. Next if you want a place that never sleeps and one where you can have gang activity along with the Columbus Police Department their almost on a regular basis then you have picked the right place for the best experience for your family If your into rooms that are disgusting and never taken care of and do not meet the codes for the city or health department this is your place. I can tell you that if you have no bug bites now by the time you leave this place you will have over 500 bites. Bed Bugs are a regular guess of this cheap motel and their owner. They are encouraged to stay while the real paying individuals are made to suffer. If you have valuable items or money lock it up somewhere else. The owners encourage their cleaning crews to go through everything while and individual is out of the room. If your stuff comes up missing that's on you. As far as the 99 cent breakfast that is what it is. You better get to the breakfast the first thing when the door opens because if you don't you will be SOL and they will not refill nor will they listen to you complaints. Eat at McDonalds or the Waffle House at least your will be assured of a good breakfast and not food posioning nor bugs in your food. Finally, out of all their staff they usually have one no more then two you actually give a dam. The rest take advantage of individuals and are rude and extremely mean to the touch. If you want a job here and your from another country that is fine with them because they never check for papers or to see if you have a work visa. What they will do if your a somewhat good worker and your in need of a job they work with their fellow church goers to cover up and break the rules in order to do things under the table to keep and individual working and to keep the government at bays end. Nice! Grow eye's in the back of your head. If not you will be the one who is sorry in the long run. Please note that it will do not good to complain to anyone close to the company or the City of Columbus. They feel that if they have individuals who are in need of a room in a pinch then what the hell the rest is on you. Listen Good Luck and my advice to you as a person and vistor if you can avoid staying here do so because the outcomes will not nor will never be good.

It was cheap and yet still overpriced for what I paid to stay here two nights. A comedy of errors from the time of check in to the time I checked out.. Oh and checking out was fun, that took about 30 minutes talking to a crazy lady out in the hall as she was complaining about no "free" coffee. As it turns out the manager rents the space out where coffee and donuts are served on the weekends to a church? Don't ask me, I'm as clueless as you are. First night there was no hot water in which to shower, this after driving 120 miles in a car with no A/C and temps outside in the low 90's. The following morning, hot water returned but there was no electricity and therefore no wake up call, no one knocked, banged nada. Oh but we're sorry the electricity is out and we don't know why, it's off next door too, go and look. Oh let's see the room itself. No glass in one of the window panes. It wasn't fixed just boarded over, charming. No remote for the tv that only had 5 channels. Cigarette burns in the carpeting, a shower you have to stand over a toilet essentially to use although that was a decent feature when there was hot water.. showering out in the open, toilet and floor completely wet, wall to wall tile, easy to mop I guess. The hallway indeed smelled of "incense" which I really didn't mind. What was kind of jarring was the subtle and then hit you in the face smell of cat pee as you walked down the hall. The hall which I should have snapped a photo of... it gave me the creeps, like something out of the shining. Great ambiance if you're researching a crime novel or film noir. I loved every second of it it was so bad! I should have known when the front desk clerk laughed when I walked in saying I had a reservation, talking about it being an "unusual weekend" referring to some recent check ins. All in all 1 glorious star! If you're broke and just need a bed upon which to flop (remember to lock your doors and park your car right outside the window) then STAY HERE! I promise you, you'll have a story.
