I'm not a customer, I work for a vendor for Fischer. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a very unprofessionally demanding and snarky "customer care manager." Hope he treats his customers with more care.

I am VERY satisfied with the work Fischer Homes did. It was faster then we thought. They kept us up to date on every detail. Helped us in every way they could. The only thing I had a problem with was Victory Mortgage. We already had a mortgage company, but they made us do a credit check with them as well. It put a small dent in our credit, but we still were able to do the mortgage with our original company we wanted. We still are also waiting on the SOD to be put in. After all that is done we will be good to go. Service: Luxury home building

I purchase a Fischer home almost 4-yrs ago. This what I have had to deal with in less than 4-yrs: - Replaced water heater. Rusted out at the bottom within 3-yrs.. It was determined that the water heater was no longer safe to use. It was out of warranty so I had to replace a basically new water heater. A water heater should not go bad in 3-yrs. - The master bathroom window has water pouring in when it rains. Not just a little, but a lot. - The entire 1st floor laminate flooring has now deteriorated to the point that the manufacture has agreed to replace the floor. The laminate floor is supposed to have a 30-yr warranty. It deteriorated in less than 4-yrs. They even laid some of the flooring right over construction material! - The carpet has pulled up from where it meets the kitchen laminate floor and has frayed to the point that I now need to replace all the carpet within 4-yrs. - The gutters get backed up and overflow. They have been clogged underground since day 1 even after having them come out a few times to fix it. - The microwave stopped working and now needs replaced. Repair man said that model has issues and needs to be replaced as well. - I had to have the dishwasher overhauled, as it also stopped working. - The oven door trim metal is falling off the oven and just hangs there. Repair man said he could not use glue because of the heat. Only solution is to order a new oven door. I understand warranties and any one or two of these repairs might not be too un-normal, but tell me who thinks it is normal to have to replace all of this in under 4-yrs with a brand-new home? Replaced: - Water heater - Laminate wood flooring (the entire house) - Carpet - Window - Leaks in windows and walls - Dishwasher - Microwave - Stove It may look nice but make sure you have a lot of money on standby to start re-building your new home after just a couple years. Replacing all of that in 4-yrs will cost you a lot.
