Julie from Nurture has been amazing to work with! When I had my son, he was unable to latch at the hospital and we struggled with breastfeeding. The day after we came home from the hospital, Julie came to our house to meet with us and has offered us guidance every step of the way since. She was able to help with breastfeeding, milk supply, and feeling more confident in the process. We would have been so lost without her and cannot recommend her and Nurture enough!

Allyson is amazing! I started seeing her when my baby was 5 months and refusing bottles. She did a full assessment, watched him attempt a few different bottle types and made a recommendation on which bottle she felt would work best for him. Within a week he was consistently taking her recommended bottle! I really appreciate Allyson's PT background and the way she incorporates it into her work. During her evaluation she noticed some other developmental difficulties he was having and gave us suggestions on how to help him reach his milestones. I can't recommend her enough!

I cant say enough good things about Nurture Columbus, specifically Allyson! My son was born a little premature and had a prominent lip and tongue tie. When he came home from the hospital he was only taking bottles and I was exclusively pumping. I reached out to Nurture for help getting to my goal of direct breastfeeding. At my first visit Allyson was so encouraging and gave me a lot of confidence. Within a few weeks I went from exclusively pumping to exclusively nursing. When we encountered some problems around the 3 month mark, Allyson referred us for a dental evaluation and was there every step of the way after a lip and tongue tie release. It was such a bonus to have her PT background as we navigated movement limitations from the oral ties. Our son is thriving, gaining weight and I feel prepared for going back to work.

Julie with Nurture is amazing! My girl came early at 35 weeks and 6 days, and I was unable to get her to latch in the hospital. As a first time mom, I was overwhelmed and didnt know the first thing about breastfeeding or what to do since she wouldnt latch. Enter Julie - she took the time to explain things and encouraged me to stick with breastfeeding even though it didnt come easy. She helped me figure out a pumping schedule and suggested I use a shield to help baby latch. Once baby was latching consistently with the shield, she helped me get rid of it all together. She also helped me plan out a pumping schedule for going back to work. I truly couldnt have done it without Julie. She encouraged me to keep going despite the challenges. Me and my girl are almost three months strong and I am so happy I stuck with it. I would 100% recommend Nurture (especially Julie) to anyone who wants to breastfeed.

Fantastic lactation services. After our daughter's NICU stay, we had trouble establishing breastfeeding for more than a month (primarily bottle feeding), and nursing was so painful for me and frustrating for babe. I was debating quitting breastfeeding. Julie came to the house and was so gentle and encouraging and not judgmental at all. She identified babe's lip and tongue restrictions so we could get them corrected, gave us tension relieving techniques/exercises to help babe nurse, gave me pumping and nipple care instructions that helped me heal, and helped me find/practice good nursing positions in my comfortable spaces. Allyson did the follow up with us and also had great recommendations. She was as fantastic as Julie. The staff is so knowledgeable and kind and having them in your home is so different from meeting with a consultant in the hospital or outpatient clinic. They take their time and make sure they answer all your questions. I am so thankful for their help. I'd recommend Nurture Columbus to any mom looking to improve her breastfeeding experience for herself and baby.
