Salem Elementary School

Review for playground only!Two small playsets behind the school.  Parking out front, so a bit far for old folks, or off to the other side of the school.  Several benches though.  Plenty of shade on the one set.  Slides, etc., plus some items I hadn't seen before: a wobbly balance beam, weird "bean" climbing things, etc. Baby K loved it.

Teachers and staff are truly amazing. Except for the principal. Unprofessional and rude. And seems very inexperienced for her position. Had trouble with her when she was the principal at Northtowne as well. Was disaapointed when she came to Salem. We left Northtowne school all because of her. Bring back Mrs Carter. She was amazing with this school.

I love everything about this school except for the principal she is a fat nasty b**** she doesn't belong and that type of setting her professionalism is super low she needs to take care of her outer appearance and then maybe she'll feel better on the inside cuz she looks like s*** she treats my dark-skinned at son's like s*** she doesn't like me and I don't like her everybody else at the school amazing Miss Pearson Miss Kelso amazing mr. Snow amazing the principal she lose her job and I hope that she reevaluate herself in her job and does something that makes her happier in life fat b****

salem is pretty good school, I normallydont write reviews but this time I have to.one thing that I"ve been seeing that makes me soo upset is the time they open. The door is suppose to be open at 8.30 am but most of the time they open about 8.32. when its raining or snowing I think it would be a nice idea opening the door 3 or 4 min early. like this morning I was waiting for the to open the door while I was in the car and these kids were standing outside getting all wet. that's is ridiculous. The management needs to do something about that. If they really care about the kids.

I have a 5th grader and a 1st grader that came into Salem between mid and the end of the year. The first step that me and my children took into the school we felt as if we had been there for the entire year! The teachers, nurse, principle, office staff...all them were so very nice and beyond helpful. I have never called or asked a question that I have never gotten an answer to. This truly is a great school!
