Dr. Jana is a true professional! She is not only extremely knowledgeable in her field but has a wonderful bedside manner. She always ensures that you are comfortable during procedures&visits. The office staff was great. So smiley and pleasant! The nursing staff was outstanding.

Dr. Hoover is the best. I went in to my appointment ashamed and embarrassed about my skin condition. Dr. Hoover was very professional and empathetic to what my skin problem. I did not have to wait long at all! Got in to an exam room swiftly, and in less that 10 mins, the Dr. was in the room. He was patient and listened to my full history that collectively contributed to my skin problem. He clarified the misinformation I had, and gave me a clear and treatable way for me to feel comfortable and confident again. Thank you Dr. Hoover, for your knowledge and understanding with my skin health concern. Friendly desk staff and kind educated medical team at Downtown Dermatology. Thank You!

One of the reasons I started going here was to addressed my eczema coming back from childhood and hyper pigmentation. The hyper pigmentation was only addressed during the initial visit and the eczema was addressed incorrectly. I told Dr. Hoover that in the past a specific ointment worked for my eczema and he proceeded to prescribe me a steroid pill, I expressed my hesitancy and he continued to recommend it because he said my eczema was permanent. After speaking to my family about the eczema coming back I realized it was due to switching body wash and since going back it has then resolved. This could have been a simple fix with a caring physician. Also had issues with the aesthetic services for instance, after more than 5 laser hair removal sessions - my hair is still growing back normally and I have to schedule a wax.
