Volunteers of America Thrift Store - West Henderson

One of my go to thrift stores! Very clean and organized, prices a reasonable and proceeds go to a good cause. It also has a great selection of items, I usually find something when I visit.

3 people including two that stated theyre managers could not redeem my points. I had $5 off and wanted to use it and they kept telling me its done, its done and I could see my total was the same. I tried to explain what Ive seen other VOAs do to redeem and she insist its my card thats wrong and proceeds to get mad at me because of her lack of training to employees and whomever were to train them as managers I asked them to reach out to indianola maybe because yes it was a learning curve but to get mad at the customer because you cant do your job what the heck

We enjoyed this thrift shop, I think they use a little to much tape on some items but I mainly go there to look through the bagged items lots of cool stuff to browse through

Prices are too high. If I wanted eBay prices, I'd go there and get a better quality item, too. Update: I went back to check it out, and it's still the same. All electronics are missing their cords and remotes. Now, sure some probably come in that way. But when you're selling a bag of remote, that clearly goes to the electronic. Also, selling clearly broken items. It's just a terrible thrift store

Not a grumble for me When asking a question or requesting service I try to remember I dont know all answers snd old old me does not serve anymore. When you dont get what you want Smile n you may be. thankful youre not getting what you Desire Smiles n Patience go a lot further than grrrrrr poor me bad you
