DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR BRAIDED HERE!!! Braider was 45 minutes late, you dont get want you ask for done, then she left without finishing and dont even follow their own policy to fix their mistakes! Im sure she left because she know my hair wasnt right. They done my hair twice in all these years! You would think she would know since I was there before. Bad business!

I shouldve learn my lesson from other people reviews. I recently visited this shop and requested Knots-less box, was told it was different price okay. Give me box braids instead, show the picture to the two stylists that was there , and they said okay. Mind you, I emailed the shop prior to my appointment in advance and ask questions about pricing and hair. I was told price was $180 including the hair, by the owner. I got to my appointment, the stylist proceeded to do my hair. About 40min minutes into the braiding process, i noticed my hair was short, not even close to bra length, I proceeded to ask the stylist, why my hair was short, she than acted like she didnt understand english, or understood me okay cool. The owner came by and said that was the actual length for box braids really??? how could you give me 16inch length as a box braids really ?Now i realize i was in trouble, theyve just did 3braids, i was about to walked out, i guess they knew i was getting irritated, than the owner proceeded to say okay but next time length is more money than just saying you want box braids. I sit in that chair from 11:45am - 5:05pm it couldve been longer, instead i insisted that i had to go to work. This owner has to time punctuality okay, So youve been warned. What ive on my hair doesnt look like box braids yall, Ive too much hair on my head. I show the stylist, and the owner pictures of how i wanted my hair, *box braids!!!!!! It shouldnt be this hard when photos are shown right? nah got a mess on my head. Now to be honest, the stylist that did my hair can braid very well, but not giving me my style totally take out the skills of braiding to me. I guess these stylists dont know how to do certain styles so youve been warned!!! BTW As an African too, i was shock to learn my own people could be as dishonest , on the level of pettiness and lack of unprofessional customer service. What i encounter was discouraging. Now i understand why others non-culture or Non African nationality goes through from theses braiding shops, more especially form this location. Never again, will i go to this braiding location. Natural hair Customer be warned! Flats iron your hair, before going to this shop, theyll comb your hair as if youve come from the Amazon rainforest I worried i may loss my hair after these braids are done. I strongly believe they can improve customers services, by communicate more in depth, as to pricing, and service intended by the customer, instead of it being a secret and surprise to the customer upon arrival. I shouldve waited for my niece to come back from vacation to braids my hair. 2 Star for location nothing else. {Response from the owner } a week ago Yes knotless box braids and regular box braids are definitely different prices and you are told from the beginning so you know and make a decision . *Thats not true *, i communicated with you a week prior to my scheduled dates! You didnt explain anything further other than emailing me a price of $180 of what i wanted and confirming the dates. Maam you will do better in your business if you honestly articulate your prices, explain to customers in-depth of your product , and service. If you do all of these things, no-one will be shocked of paying you the price of your service. Sitting in your chair and getting something totally different on your head is unprofessional business practice. Take criticism. work on area youre limited on, improve service and more on . *You braid good hair, but you dont give whats ask? just to increase the price, If you were to explains on the email and telephone conversation, we had , you couldnt be bothered with my review. I got service from you that wasnt great but yet youre defending your prices.. Paying isnt a problem, service is giving me what i ask for. If 3.5 stars is satisfactory to you, than Good luck!

Cut my natural hair in several places during the trimming of the braids before dipping them. Discovered this error once removed as several 6 inch long pieces of my hair was in my hand and in more than one spot. The day of service I thought I seen the cut but thought it was the weave, nope it was mines. Called and texted owner and was provided an excuse stating this has never happened before! I pressed on and was given $60 which honestly isnt enough but I simply wont return as I discovered she doesnt want me to anyway because she is out of money. Weird thing to say especially when Im the one with the missing hair. Good thing there is plenty of braiders in this city. I would beware of this shop. To heavy handed during the service from one tech and to rushed with those scissors so your hair may get cut.
