We've had a wonderful move-in experience! Pete and the management team have really made sure that our transition into our apartment went very smooth. It's been great! The neighborhood is wonderful. The apartment is very clean and cozy. I'd definitely recommend looking into this neighborhood if you're looking for a quality spot. We had a slight issue with our AC when we turned it on for the first time yesterday (after business hours), but Hannah came out and fixed it the very next day! The few minor issues we've had have been resolved promptly and completely.

The apartments are nice and I like the layout of the property; however, make sure your life plans are in check. You cannot break the lease for any reason and subleasing is "at their discretion." Also, if you plan to be settled and stay long term, beware that the lease will go up hundreds at resigning. There is no negotiating and much pressure to sign immediately. A red flag I should have took better account of. Internet, utilities, and mandatory valet trash is also very expensive. Other companies I lived at had 5 day/week unlimited trash service for $10/month. This one costs $60/month ($20/valet and $40 for the dumpster) "because that's what they pay." With well over 200 at $60 each, they must be terrible negotiators themselves if they are paying $6000/month for a dumpster on property that is ALWAYS overflowing. As other have mentioned, the property itself is decent but not well cared for. The grass is mowed. SNOW IS NOT REMOVED FROM SIDEWALKS. It will sit for days and turn to ice and slush making it dangerous to walk on (they ignored my emails about this). Dog bags are provided but never refilled. The gym trash is not emptied and cleaning supplies not restocked. I am glad they showed their true colors before renewing a longer lease.

HUGE MONEY TRAP Biggest advice, believe the other reviews on here. We made the mistake of not believing the horror stories about the Connor Group and their management teams and we are paying for it. Absolutely horrible management and ownership group. The walls between apartments are paper thin, and they have quite a few tenants that enjoy blaring tvs and speakers until very late at night. These issues were never solved while there. The gym has great equipment but it is disgustingly filthy. Genuinely not sure if it is even cleaned once a year, there were fall leaves in the doorways for almost a whole year. The pool is large but also disgusting. Other tenants took turns using their own nets to clear debris and other contents out of the pool. Never once saw a maintenance person cleaning this pool other than when they fill it in the spring. There is also an issue with people from outside communities coming to use the pool and pickleball courts. There are no gates at the front of the District to keep any unwanted visitors out, and there is never anyone checking to make sure the people using the facilities are actually living at the District at Linworth. Garbage is overflowing from garbage cans in common areas outside, as well as at the dumpster that is always surrounded by piles of garbage. The internet pricing is also absolutely absurd. Our internet price severely increased halfway into our lease, with absolutely no upgrade in speed, service or quality. There was never ever any reason given for this increase in price. Apparently this is normal practice for them. They will also pressure you into resigning for another lease with them very early on into your first lease. It is annoying and ridiculous because they immediately try to scare you with a large rent increase if you do not resign the lease by a current date. This pressure is disgusting and completely unnecessary with rent prices already as high as they are. Upon move out, we were conveniently charged for damages that added up exactly to our security deposit. This is after requesting a move-out walk through to ensure there were no damages, which was denied by their management and stated they do not do those with tenants. This is so they can walk through and cherry pick items to make sure you get $0 of your security deposit back. The photos they sent to justify their charges are absolutely outrageous and enough to make us want to warn others. NOT WORTH IT! MUCH BIGGER MONEY TRAP THAN YOU THINK!
