Raymond Onders, MD - Closed

I recently went to Dr. Onders to get my gallbladder removed. He is a very kind person and great doctor. He seems like he genuinely cares about his patients. I feel so much better and am so glad I went to him.

Dr. Onders put a diaphragm pacer in my wife who had ALS. He extended her life and gave her a chance to see her daughter get married. He is one of the most compassionate and down-to-earth doctors I have ever met.

Dr.Onders saved my life in the emergency room at University Hospital in Beachwood. I had been sick for several months with throwing up and lost a lot of weight but could not figure out what was causing this as I totally changed my diet to healthy food but was still sick, After we met and he told me I needed surgery now and I was happy they finally figured out what was wrong. After this point I was taken to the operating room and remained conscious for about 30 seconds looking at all the strange bright lights and seeing all the people who were helping him. I wound up having a perforation in my small intestine and my gallbladder was also removed. He fixed the problems using minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. I spent the next week in the hospital to recover. Dr.Onders came by a few times to check and see how I was doing in my room at the hospital which was nice. We met for a follow up appointment and I am now on the road to recovery and I am eternally grateful to this brilliant doctor.
