I previously rented from Public Storage during a move and had two storage units for nearly a year with a good experience at this location. This time, I reserved a storage unit with an advertised $1 first month promo, which was confirmed via e-mail receipt. When I arrived on move-in day, I was informed that unit had a broken door and so was unavailable due to maintenance. I was informed other identically sized units were available, but the location was unable to honor the $1 first month promo. After calling corporate and being transferred between no less than 4 different people, Public Storage was still unable to honor the promo. I canceled my reservation and drove up the street where I easily and happily rented from CubeSmart. I do not give my business to companies who do not honor agreements, and Public Storage has lost a customer for life.
