Health codes- this is something that should be reviewed by the owner of the properties in the Akron and surrounding areas. DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS. I wouldn't let my dog live in any of the homes I looked at and was physically sick by the stench. How can another human being expect another one to live in a home with filthy, fecal, urine smelly carpet? A tub with a hole and spray painted? Disgusting.
Do not waste your time looking at any property owned by this company.
You deserve better. Remember your worth!

God Awful!
This review is with respect to Shaker Square Apartments, which is managed by Crossroads Property Management. How can I summarise two years of negligent management in such a short space? Despite having numerous emergency maintenance issues, thanks to the building falling apart around its tenants, not once has the emergency maintenance staff responded to any of my dozens of phone calls over two years of living here. The one time the emergency maintenance person did answer the phone in real time he was clearly drunk and refused to come fix the massive leak in my kitchen sink that had flooded my kitchen floor. My walls still have water damage from when Hurricane Sandy came through here over a year and a half ago. My main bedroom ceiling still has water damage from my upstairs neighbour's leaking plumbing, which still leaks yet to this day. This same bedroom has a non functioning radiator that despite numerous maintenance phone calls has never been fixed. This is hardly noticeable now though since the heat in the entire building has barely been functioning this entire winter.
Despite this the rent at Shaker Square Apartments is still the highest in the neighborhood and continues to rise every year. It's a joke to think that the owner can justify this in such a terrible building in such a terrible neighbourhood. And yes, the neighbourhood is truly terrible. I don't even bother calling the cops anymore when I hear gunshots in the night as I know they won't respond. Panhandlers aggressively hustle decent people in the square to the point that most people are afraid to be outside after dark. None of my female friends want to linger in the neighbourhood for any length of time since the street harassment is so prominent. Several of my friends who also lived in Shaker Square Apartment buildings suffered multiple forced entries and burglaries due to the buildings' grotesque lack of security.
If you are in the market for a new apartment, please live anywhere else.
