        Helpful staff and never too busy, even when full. Biggest current gripe though is that when I visited, there was almost no range of grey paints other than white, black, dark grey and grey.

        A lot more hands-on than I anticipated/appreciated. My bowl did not really feel like I made it, and 40 minutes passed waiting to glaze as the only two employees were talking to each other and not moving our group of 6 forward in the process. Just a very awkward experience, and you are not allowed to start over if you don't like the piece you throw. We got here at 4:30 and couldn't glaze until 5:40. Another group got here at 5:30; it's 6:25 now and they're more done than our group is. Very strange and a bit disappointing.

      Hi Sean,Yea, there’s not much we can do there. The company we purchase these ceramic glazes from only makes two greys a black and a white. Next time you can always mix the black and white into the greys and each other to make a wide range of grey tones! These glazes mix similarly to acrylic paint, so if you aren’t happy with the exact color out of the bottle you can adjust it to your liking. Glad your experience was a good one overall!

      Hi Arielle,I am sorry your experience was not as expected. The process of throwing takes years to perfect. This class is designed to get your feet wet and see if it is something you would like to pursue further, which you can in our open studio! With that option you can throw as many pieces as you want for an hourly rate, and only have to keep the pieces you like!
