Nicholas Bambakidis, MD

I had an appointment with Bambakidis for surgical consultation, but I never even got to speak with him. He didn't even review my MRI images! He pushed me off on his medical assistant... for a surgical consultation. The assistant was incredibly indifferent to my life experiences and chronic pain. She told me the condition I have lived with for twenty years "will just go away on its own" and I should "try physical therapy"... even AFTER I told her we tried PT many times in the past twenty years. I have never had a doctors office act so indifferent about my care, and so disrespectful to my time or condition. I would NEVER, EVER, recommend Bambakidis or UH Neurosurgery to anyone I know.

Bambakidis did a fantastic job on my wife's craniotomy. We could not have been happier with our outcome. He removed a tumor about the size of a grape... Incision was about 5 inches long/20 staples. Only had to shave a little bit of hair where incision was. She is recovering faster and better than expected. If you are having surgery with Dr. Bambakidis, you are very fortunate to have such a competent, amazing doctor. You can be confident that there probably isn't any better neuro for your surgery, and we talked to A LOT of people and they all agree!
