Dan, the crew chief, did an excellent job demolishing a basement room which included a countertop, cabinets, sink, plumbing, toilet, wall panels, and stud framing. He carefully ground down nails that were hammered into the foundation wall to avoid damaging the tile blocks. The entire crew was careful, efficient, and courteous. We highly recommend College HUNKS for any "heavy lifting".

Customer service is pretty bad for the Cleveland location. Had an appointment scheduled from 9am - 11am. Got a call at about 1pm same day saying they were going to be late. To which I asked why didnt you tell me this during my appointment window and was told things just took longer than expected. Asked to reschedule and was never called back. Called the corporate number and asked for a reschedule, was told that the Cleveland office had to schedule that. Still no call from anyone in the Cleveland office. If you call and let me know you are going to be late no problem. But when I sit around and wait then get a call almost two hours after the latest time come on. Then at least have the common courtesy to at least try to correct it instead of just wasting my time.

What a great service and company! Dan and rod showed up early, got the whole thing done in well under 2 hours. I had some furniture hauled away for donation. I also needed a bedroom set moved from one bedroom to another. While they were here, I found many other items to donate. It's all gone now and I'm very happy. Especially because I know these items will be go to someone who can use them. They were not of any use to me anymore and just taking up space. You'll get more than just good service from hiring College Hunks. You get to have the satisfaction of donating to good causes.
I also want to complement the people in the office for excellent service. Their communication is fantastic and consistent and reliable.
Lastly, the price was right. Hiring movers can be so expensive but these guys didn't waste a minute and the rates were quite reasonable. I will definitely use them again.
