Avoid at all costs!!! This landscaper is unreliable and does not take any accountability for his actions.  We are pursuing legal action because of his poor workmanship. It is absolutely not worth your time.

DO NOT USE THIS INDIVIDUAL I have had dealings with numerous salespeople, contractors, and suppliers over the years, but I have never dealt with someone as UNETHICAL and UNPROFESSIONAL as Dominic Liberatore. Additionally I found him to be UNTRUSTWORTHY, INCONSISTENT, RUDE and BRASH. Dominic would like to impress you with his expertise and experience, but its all BS, the typical Jack of all trades but master of none. He doesnt use contracts, or offer guarantees, and the only place you will see his signature is on the back of your payment check! He operates in DIRECT VIOLATION of Ohio Revised Code 4722.04. A contractor may not take as a down payment more than 10% of the contract price before the suppliers performance begins. There is a Latin saying, Caveat Emptor, which means Buyer Beware! Look up the word jerk in the dictionary and you will probably see his picture! For a complete breakdown of the situation, go to Neighborhood News.

I hired Liberatore Landscape to remove a tree and grind the stump. They removed the tree in August 2021. They didnt mention there was an extra charge to remove the debris from grinding. They ground the stump in June 2020. (Yes, nine months later.) They left a mountain of debris and told me it was my fault because I elected not to have it removed. I have never had a tree removed. I had no idea I needed to pay extra. They didnt ask me about it when I was hiring them. When pressed on the issue, the owner was rude. So, I have to hire someone else to pick up the debris. If that wasnt enough, he doesnt have his own crew, he subcontracts the work. When they removed the tree there were workers standing around not doing much, and then they left a mess. I wouldnt recommend this contractor.

I'm not going to go into the details and back & forth of dealing with this "company", however proof can be provided upon request by anyone who is considering using Liberatore Landscape in the future. Short recap of our interactions. Met with, agreed to quote to remove a miniature crabapple tree and Dominic was extremely happy to have been granted the job and gave me his cell phone number in order to attempt to obtain a landscaping job from me. Dominic provided a "written" two week lead time for the stump removal of tree (as well as spraying weeds - wild hibiscus) dated August 8th. I provided him with a down payment on August 22nd which was cash that same day. The following day, August 23rd, Dominic cut down the small tree. Dominic also gave me a verbal commitment on August 23rd regarding the lead time for grinding the stump and spraying the wild hibiscus. Dominic was aware my privacy fence is due to be installed on September 12th. I waited two weeks before contacting him for follow up on the stump (September 7th) and he went beserk. "Why are you bothering me? He asked. "I said I would have the stump removed before your fence install!!!" He shouted. "You're harassing me" He exclaimed. I refuse to mimic his behavior and attitude and simply advised him to keep the down payment because it appears he needs it more than I do and concurred that we should consider his job complete. The next day after interactions with Dominic and his odd behavior, I phoned a licensed company who "owns" their own equipment and does "not" subcontract labor and my stump was removed the next day and the job only took 5 minutes. The company hired to complete Dominic's work is BBB Accredited however Liberatore Landscape is not BBB accredited, but...Dominic (or Libertore Landscaping) has a D+ rating with the BBB Organization for other....."clients" who have complaints as well. Please check the BBB for yourself. I asked Dominic not to contact me after I advised him and concurred that our business dealings were completed and just now as I typed this review, he sent this to me in email: "Your amusing". I can only surmise that due to Dominic's rage, he meant to type... "*Your're* amusing". I'll let the readers of this review decide for themselves if this is an individual/"company" you'd like to do business with. However things do work out for the best! Stump now grounded for a much lesser cost and my fence installation will proceed on schedule with maintenance by a professional company who also has my landscaping business!

Used them for two years on snow plowing. I should have dumped them the first year. They were almost always late and sometimes they forgot my house. Also endured 1 1/4 years of landscaping. They waited way too long to start mowing both Springs. I had the worst looking lawn on the block and had to call them numerous times before they finally completed the first mowing. On the first year I did my own spring cleanup, but I asked them to do spring cleanup in year 2. I had to ask several times before they showed up. They were on time and material and the billing was reasonable, but they did not complete the job. They mulched a couple of beds, did not trim any bushes and failed to cleanup a pile of leaves by my house. In May I said "enough is enough" and moved on.
