I hired Lou Carlozzi through a recommendation of a very good friend of mine (also an attorney that has known him for decades).
Lou represented me in a very complicated case in which I had to file a protection order. Lou was incredibly supportive and understanding, especially given the experience I endured leading up to having to go through this court case . He went above and beyond in answering questions that I had, he was quick to respond whenever I reached out to him, and did a fabulous job representing and advocating for me! If there was legal terminology and/or proceedings that I did not comprehend, he was able to explain it so that I had full understanding; he ensured that I was well-informed. I hired Lou Carlozzi for a second time (see my previous review relating to a separate case) to represent me for a small claims case. This particular case was incredibly stressful for me and I was very unfamiliar with the court proceedings for this type of case (I am a former legal assistant and have a good understanding of other areas of law). Lou again took the time to answer any of my questions in order to ensure that I was well-informed. Again, he was quick to respond/maintained consistent contact, sensitive to my needs as a client, and truly advocated for me. During the hearing, he did an incredible job of presenting the facts of the case and he truly was a champion for me. Lou is an excellent representation of what an attorney should be. He practices law with the utmost integrity, compassion for his clients, and authenticity. He is incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, and most importantly trustworthy.
