        I don't know if the woman that runs you a quote is dumb or lying, but Allstate does ding your credit when they do a credit check. She was adamant it wouldn't show up, but it did. Found same coverage for literally 50% less elsewhere and was able to pay a year in advance--It's a waste of time for those with medical debt to quote car insurance with Allstate. Next I'll be going with AAA coverage--I can increase my coverage for a year and still only pay half of what Allstate wanted--without it putting a mark on my credit.
