I've had Mark look at my heater and AC for over a decade now. He's the exact type of person you want looking over these things. Wise, knowledgeable, friendly, and actually works to determine the problem instead of urging you to replace massive components. Many people in the industry are focused on getting you to buy whatever unit they're partnered with but Mark genuinely believes that machines can serve a house for a long time and proves it by keeping our ancient AC unit alive with whatever magic it is he possess. If you need your AC or heater fixed and don't go with this company you made a mistake.

Their job was to swap out an old 35 year old Lennox system, reusing the electrical lines and the copper refrigerant tubing already in place. This meant installing a 80% efficient Rheem 75,000 BTU furnace and Rheem 2.5 ton A/C with a 2.5 ton cased cooling coil, modify ductwork at the furnace, install an AC concrete pad and disconnect box, and add a 5" chimney liner. The quote for this job in Parma, completed June 4, 2020, was $5,125 including tax. The actual cost ended up being $5,220, about 2% over the original estimate. The estimate did not include replacing the copper tubing or electrical wiring. The job was completed in about 1 and a half days. After the job started, they saw that I needed a new air filter. This increased cost by $60. The air filter they installed was a 201 Space-Gard which retails at $29.95. They installed it improperly, without using any pleat spacers. After the job was complete, they told me there was an apparent air blockage in the ductwork somewhere and we might want to search around the vents to find the obstruction. Just before they left, we inspected the furnace and saw the filter they just installed pushing out of the edges of the cartridge. This was causing the blockage. They charged $60 to install 5 pleat spacers, which looked very used. He took my old pleat spacers, saying they were broken. Just before driving off he showed me a broken tab of a pleat spacer in the back of his van. Pros: most competitive price, solid, presentable and neatly done mortaring/brazing/ductwork. Cons: The pleat spacer issue, as well as charging me after catching their mistake, is just too fishy to dismiss. As a result I'm not confident in their integrity and I'd go back to my old servicer, Tiger Air.
