high quality, affordable hand made local products including (but not limited to) soaps, candles, bath bombs. the shop is small but very well stocked. you are sure to find several new favorites! the staff is very knowledgable and willing to help if you're overwhelmed by all the options. they even offer unscented products for those with sensitive skin and allergies!

The staff is very warm and knowledgeable about their products. The scents aren't overwhelming and they have a variety of products to choose from. I've personally enjoyed the sugar scrub and their shampoo bar. It makes you feel good buying locally and staying environmentally friendly. I'll be coming back for sure.

It was good until I bought a $15 little roll on essential oil which was empty bottle. I have to drive all the way back there to get another one. they did not offer me anything for the inconvenience they caused for selling me an empty bottle

I love this store! High quality products for a great price and the worker was very friendly helpful. He even threw in a free bath bomb for me. I will definitely be back!

PHOTOS ATTACHED below.I rarely give 5-star reviews anymore but Stem Soaps deserves it. From product quality, great customer service, and local/handmade items, you can't go wrong with visiting this establishment.I recently visited the Van Aken Market location in March 2022 (east side of Cleveland). I originally visited Stem Handmade Soaps in April 2019 for a Yelp Elite event where Yelpers got to make our own handmade soaps, 6 each (FREE). You can look up that review on Yelp. If you view the first 2 photos attached below, you'll see the soap that I made for myself back then which I named "Autumn Wander".BAR SOAPS ($6 each) -- There is a vast selection of scents to choose from which makes the shopping experience pleasant. I bought the Lavender Eucalyptus soap which smells heavenly. I was going to add this soap as a birthday gift to a friend but now I am going to keep it for myself, haha.ROOM/LINEN SPRAY ($12 each) -- I also bought the Lavender Eucalyptus, room/linen spray. This is used to spray around your home, on your pillows before bed, spray in the air before or after yoga, etc. Its use is very versatile. The price may seem steep or a bit expensive for such a small bottle but the product is all-natural and good quality.SERVICE -- It was wonderful because the woman who helped my friend and I was very attentive. A smile goes a long way.OTHER NON-SOAP ITEMS -- They also sell lotions, soy candles, etc.I will definitely be back to Stem Soaps but I will most likely visit their Lakewood location which is closer to where I live. ****- 29/150 total reviews in 2022- 507 total overall Yelp reviews- Reviewed on 24 March 2022
