Designer Walls repainted the inside of our house a few months ago and we couldn't be more pleased. We put this off for a long time because we had several rooms of wallpaper that had to be stripped and we heard that it gets very messy. When the paper is stripped the wall needs to be skim coated to make it smooth again. This can't be helped. Skim coating involves smoothing a couple thin layers of plaster over the wall and sanding it smooth. Normally this creates a lot of dust. But Designer Walls uses a power sander that sucks up the dust. I couldn't believe...there was no dust. They worked quickly and quietly and finished the job ahead of schedule. It was like they weren't even there. Normally this company does commercial work in hotels and universities, so I was glad they were available to help us. We've worked with several painters over the years and had some disasters. The crew at Designer Walls spoiled us and showed us how its supposed to be done. Thanks guys! We'll be back.
